This panorama was made from a single 6x7cm medium format transparency on a cold calm day during a stretch of forty continuous days of rain. Feeling a bit like Noah, I decided to not let the weather hold me back and set out to photograph the gloom. A momentary glimpse of evening light gave hope that sunny days were soon to return, and a week later they did.
