When conditions are right, the view from Coleman Valley Road is a splendid sight. The receding ridges, covered in redwood, fir, tan oak, and madrone create wonderful textures in the morning fog. Rays of light, known as "God Beams" stretch through the boughs. The light is warm and rich, a glorious view indeed.
